Chiara is an Italian/American classically trained mezzo soprano, with a warm voice that fits a wide range of musical styles.　She began her training at 12, and made her debut at 16 with the professional sacred music choir Aramus. She has a BA in Vocal Performance from Lawrence University, and a MMus from University of London SOAS. While originally only focusing on opera, performing with Roma Opera Festival and on stages in the US, Europe and Korea, since moving to Tokyo she has broadened her repertoire to include chanson, canzone, pop, jazz, Disney, musicals and film scores. Recently, she has provided the vocals for Bandai and Disney video game soundtracks, sung as lead vocalist on the Pacific Venus cruise line and performed the role of Lucia in the opera ”Cavalleria Rusticana" at the Varna State Opera. She was also chosen to sing the ending theme for "Joe's Encyclopedia," a film that will be shown at the Sundance Film Festival.
