How Liliana casts actors

Before proposing candidates, we check the languages and acting experience the role needs, and whether they can commit to the shooting days.

Search by role

Filter by age, nationality, language and feel. If you share the script or proposal, we will put forward candidates role by role.

Extras and large groups

Extras for crowd scenes can be booked together with the main cast. Let us know the numbers, the mix of nationalities and the call time.

Visa status already checked

We check international actors’ visa status and work eligibility at registration. The production doesn’t need to check again.

Interpreters

If talent can’t work in Japanese, we provide an interpreter, so the director’s instructions can be given on the spot.

About actor fees

Actor fees depend on the size of the role, the number of shooting days and how the finished work is used.

Size of role and screen time

Lead, supporting role or extra. Whether there are lines and the number of scenes are also factored in.

Shooting days

A standard day is 8 hours including breaks. Multi-day shoots are quoted per day.

Media

Where the work is released: theaters, TV broadcast, streaming, web, social media and so on. The more outlets, the higher the fee.

Usage period

It also depends on how long the work is released or streamed. We do not accept buyouts without a set period.

Category exclusivity

For commercials, a surcharge applies if the actor must not appear in competitors’ ads during the contract.

Career

Fees also depend on credits and profile. Extras and experienced actors are priced differently.

We don’t publish a rate card. Tell us the size of the role, shooting days and release outlets, and we will give you a rough quote with a breakdown. For payment and cancellation terms, see our FAQ.
