Narrator & Voice Actor Casting
We propose Liliana narrators and voice actors for commercials, corporate videos, e-learning, announcements and other voice recordings. Besides Japanese, our roster includes narrators in English and many other languages, and you can choose after listening to voice samples. A voice’s character and pacing are hard to describe in writing, so start by listening to the samples.
Consultations and quotes are free. Office hours: weekdays 10:00–19:00 JST

How Liliana casts narrators
We listen not only to voice quality but also to whether they can read in the style the script needs.
Voice samples
Our members’ voice samples are available online. Filter by voice type, pacing and language, and listen before you decide.
Multilingual recording
Our roster includes native narrators in English and other languages. Multilingual versions of the same content can be recorded with a consistent tone across languages. For English narration, listen to candidates in our English & international narrators list. For accent options and how booking works, see English Narrator Casting.
Matched to the script
Short pieces like commercials and long ones like e-learning need different reads. Tell us the type of script, and we will propose members who suit it.
Visa status already checked
We check international narrators’ visa status and work eligibility at registration. You don’t need to check again.
About narration fees
Narration fees depend on the amount of recording and how the audio is used. The approach is a little different from on-camera talent fees.
Length and script volume
It depends on the finished length and the number of characters in the script. A 15-second commercial and a 30-minute e-learning course are priced very differently.
Recording time
It depends on how long the narrator is booked in the studio. If you expect retakes or several versions, let us know in advance.
Media
It depends on where the audio is played: TV broadcast, web, in-building announcements, internal use and so on. Fees are higher when broadcast is included.
Usage period
It also depends on how long the audio is used. We do not accept buyouts without a set period.
Language
Japanese, or English or another foreign language. Whether native level is required is also factored in.
Recording method
It differs between studio recording and home recording by the narrator. Let us know your preferred delivery format as well.
We don’t publish a rate card. Tell us the length, script character count and media, and we will send a rough quote with a breakdown. Payment and cancellation terms are in our FAQ.
From request to recording
Contact us
Tell us the project outline, preferred recording date, media and budget. It’s fine if things aren’t decided yet.
Candidate proposals
We send profiles and voice samples of matching members, along with a rough quote.
Hold and confirmation
We put a provisional hold on the recording date and confirm after sample review. Terms, usage scope and period are agreed at this stage.
For details on each step, see How It Works; for the talent’s terms, see our Performance Guidelines.

- Do I need to book the recording studio?
